Tina and TobyBoo

Earlier this year Christelle and I travelled to York to attend the annual ACE convention. It was here that we met Tina from Tobyboo. Some of you may already recognise her work but for those who are not familiar with her designs we are pleased to be introducing you to one of England’s most unique illustrators.
All of Tina’s designs are drawn using a sewing machine and a completely free hand. There are no markings, sketches or outlines on the material used so each piece is drawn with a needle and thread.  It is fair to say we were wowed with her work and couldn’t wait to get back to Oxford and think of something we could do together.
After a few phone calls, a meeting in Oxford and some skilled stitching we are delighted to present our two latest mugs (all of which have been made in Britain).
We hope you like them .
