It's been a long time coming but the new Oxford University Shop site is finally live and open for business! And it's not only a new look for the shop, we're now using WorldPay to process customer transactions so the checkout process should be smoother than ever.

We'd love to hear what you think of the changes we've made - you can leave feedback in the comments below this post or by filling in the contact us form. There are lots more improvements still to make, but hopefully you'll agree that the new store is much easier to use.

And now that the improved shop is in place, we'll be concentrating on bringing you the very best new Oxford University gifts and clothing. Stay tuned for news of fabulous new product collections!

Of course, not everything has changed. We're still offering free standard UK delivery, we've still got the best selection of University of Oxford merchandise anywhere on the web, and with all profits to the University Chest every purchase you make still supports the University of Oxford in it's world famous achievements in education and research.

Thanks for reading, and for supporting the University of Oxford with your custom.

We're slowly getting towards the end of a big project to move the University of Oxford Shop onto a new e-commerce platform. It's a project that's well overdue (nobody's quite sure when our current site was built, I'm guessing late 17th century). Anyway, here's a sneak preview of the new homepage. I'm really excited that we'll be featuring the latest blog posts and tweets as well as some lovely Oxford merchandise. I hope you like it! Not long to wait now... Preview of new oushop.com homepage

Maybe it's the shiny new facelift we gave oushop.com yesterday. Maybe it's the morning sun over Oxford and the high blue sky. Or maybe it's just an extra large dose of the Friday feeling. Whatever it is, I'm feeling particularly chipper this morning. Here's Queen's college around 8am. Queen's College, High Street, Oxford

After some last-minute scrabbling for images, a few frantic hours of copy-and-pasting, a couple of final design tweaks and one forgotten password, it's finally here. The Oxford University online shop has a new skin. A whole new look, with some beautiful photos of Oxford and much larger product images for easier browsing. Not only that, we're now offering free standard UK delivery. I hope you like the changes we've made. Whatever you think of them, we'd love to hear from you. You can contact us via email or using the new Kampyle feedback form on the shop site. Now for a well deserved cuppa...

It's pretty frantic in the office at the moment. We're in the final stages of preparation for the oushop site refresh, which is due to take place next week. It should make quite a difference to our little Oxford shop. Of all the changes we've got planned, I'm most excited about bringing some great photography onto the site. We've been lucky enough to get agreement from Darrell Godliman to use some of his brilliant photographs on the new homepage. Oxford is such a photogenic city. And it's not just about the classic limestone architecture. The people, the culture, the rivers and the parks are every bit as important.  Combined with Darrell's expertise, these elements really come to life on-screen, and evoke a tangible sense of this beautiful city. For more of Darrell's photographs, click here. And to see our brand new site, visit www.oushop.com next week. Brasenose Lane Lovers by Darrell Godliman
