Nuffield College
A close-knit community solely for postgraduates, Nuffield College was founded at the University of Oxford in 1937, and named after William Morris, Lord Nuffield.
Nuffield College is, above all, a research institution, and was the first in the University of Oxford's history to be dedicated to a specific academic discipline: namely, the social sciences. This has resulted in huge advancements in the field, from the Oxford School of industrial relations to the British Election Studies.
