Harris Manchester

Harris Manchester College is one of the University of Oxford's newest colleges, joining in the 1990s. Its history, however, dates back to 1786, when the eponymous Manchester Academy was founded as a dissenting academy for nonconformists, who were denied entry to the University of Oxford.

Uniquely, Harris Manchester College only admits students who are over 21 years old. The small, friendly college is known for the diversity of its students and the broad range of life experience and academic qualifications they possess.
