Christ Church

Christ Church is one of the University of Oxford's largest colleges, doubling as the Cathedral Church for Oxford. Often at the centre of historic events, Christ Church acted as the home of King Charles I during the English Civil War.

Christ Church also acted as the home of many illustrious students, from four-time Prime Minister William Gladstone to philosopher John Locke and Lewis Carroll, who was inspired to write 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' by Christ Church's hallowed halls.
