Gearing up for Christmas

It may still be 89 days until Christmas, but we're having to put our festive brains into gear as the busy Christmas shopping period gets ever nearer! From advertising artwork deadlines to deciding the final details for our in-store promotions and decorations, we seem to have a little bit of Christmas cropping up every day. Fortunately I'm one of those people who rather enjoys everything festive, no matter what time of year, so I wasn't at all bothered by the tinsel lying around the office last week (in fact I was rather excited to dig it out of the store-room)! Christmas is always a busy time of year for us as we have website orders to ship out all over the word as well as lots of visitors to the High Street shop, but planning the Christmas windows is always fun and the shop will look very pretty with fairy lights when the nights get darker. Today I was also looking online to see what other events the city has planned for the lead up to Christmas, and it all looks quite exciting with a Christmas light procession, visits from Santa, Children's workshops and the second year of the Oxford Christmas market. If you don't feel it too painful to look at what's planned then Oxford City Guide has a good Christmas directory. You never know, it may even be a white Christmas!
